Built on Drupal

We built Blueprint on Drupal, a powerful and secure content management system used by ambitious organizations such as IUCN, The Rainforest Alliance, the ACLU and IPPF. Drupal makes it easy to integrate with third-party systems securely and build custom tools.

We use an install profile, developed by Matrushka, called Prussian Blue. An install profile is like a pre-packaged Drupal site: it helps us spin up a site that has all the tools we need, in a matter of hours instead of months. This is how we can get you a site in three weeks.

Zero Vendor Lock-in

Both Drupal and Prussian Blue are open source software, so there is zero vendor lock-in. This means that if in the future you decide to take your site and host it elsewhere, or work with a different agency, you have the freedom to do so. It’s your site.

Easy to Integrate

There’s a good chance that you’ll need to integrate your site with third-party tools: send constituent data to your CRM, integrate with donation platforms or host a custom database are common examples. All of this, and more, is possible in a Blueprint project.

Peace of Mind

Blueprint projects include one year of hosting and maintenance, counted from the time we deploy the site and make it accessible for editors. We will monitor your site and react if something breaks. We’ll update code to protect it from vulnerabilities and make sure there are daily automated backups as an extra security measure. We also guarantee your site to be bug-free while we maintain it: if something breaks, we will fix it at no extra cost.

GDPR Ready

The Blueprint core includes a GDPR compliance module that displays a customizable cookie banner.
